When one thinks of a coach, one often thinks about athletic teams, such as football, basketball, soccer, etc., and it is undeniable that the field of coaching has evolved from this early origin of sports performance. However, just as athletes have goals in their sporting performance, and teams have goals in winning the ultimate prize, so do countless other people have goals for work, health, optimal performance, relationships, behavioral change, or just to be upgraded in life. Many people become clients because they desire greater clarity, knowledge, support, and inspiration to move towards their desired goals.
Coaches have the ability to view things from a different perspective, and perhaps shed light on difficult situations. These could include procrastination, denial, justification, self-sabotage, and resistance that keep us stuck in the same patterns over and over again.
A Certified Human Potential Coach (CHPC) can help facilitate change in all aspects of your life using mindfulness, embodied cognition methods, bio hacking, and education to help you discover what will move you forward. A coach is not a therapist or consultant, and we do not give you advice on how to live your life. Rather, we listen, ask questions and share insights and resources so you can live from your strengths and values, and you have more self control so as not to choose behaviors that no longer serve you.
